OUR LADY'S HELPING HANDS

"Loving me and loving your neighbor are inseparable.  To the degree that you love me you love your neighbor, because love of her comes from me.  It is my gift to you.  Through the love of neighbor that I make possible for you, your virtue grows.  You prove that you possess me by nurturing love of me in the soul of your neighbor, praying constantly for her, desiring my glory and the salvation of her soul.  Enamored of my truth you must never cease to serve all my creatures, according to their special needs.  One you will help with words another with the example of your life.  To one you will show this virtue, to another, something else.  There are in my house many mansions, but love alone will gain you entrance - a love for me completed in the love of your neighbor.  No matter what your state of life, it is only binding yourself to me in love that you can love and serve your neighbor." ~ God to Saint Catherine of Siena [The Dialogue]

Our Lady's Helping Hands was created by a small group of parishioners wanting to put Jesus' request of loving our neighbor into practice.

Our mission is to reach out to our neighbors to let them know they are in our thoughts and prayers.

Please prayerfully consider helping to bring happiness to others:

DO YOU HAVE A TALENT TO SHARE?

Can you bake? Do you make crafts? Could you find a few minutes to call a homebound neighbor? Are you good with a computer?

Can you help with creating postcards? Would you be willing to deliver gifts to our neighbors? Are you a prayer warrior? Can you support us financially?

We would love to have you join us!

"Lord, we ask that you make us true prayer warriors! Give us the strength and means to help others and the motivation to do it!  Make us a blessing to others! Direct our vision and actions outward, so that we act in ways that make a difference in this world and in the lives of those who matter most to you.  Use us as defenders of those who need your love and protection!" ~ author unknown
